Bio

Qiaoling “Amy” Ma is currently a PhD student and teaching assistant in Applied Economics at Northeastern University. Her major research interests are industrial organization, technological innovation, business model innovation, and Entrepreneurship.

Since 2014, Qiaoling Ma has been working as a research assistant in the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Research Group at Northeastern University. She has been associated with University of Massachusetts Center for Industrial Competitiveness, and The Academic-Industry Research Network since 2013. From 2011 to 2013, Qiaoling Ma worked as a research assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. While there, she worked for professor William Lazonick on a project called: “Financial Institutions for Innovation and Development”, funded by the Ford Foundation.

Qiaoling Ma holds an MS in Technological Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business, an MA in Regional Economics and Social Development from University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a BS in Nursing from Hebei University.
