Bio

Kristine Dery, based in Sydney, Australia, is a Research Scientist with MIT CISR. Her research in technology and the workplace has resulted in a range of both academic and industry publications with particular emphasis on mobile connectivity. This work has stemmed from a longer-term research focus on the relationship between HRM and IS which has, in more recent times, generated further inquiry into the management of remote workers and the implications for new ways of working. Dr. Dery co-founded and co-chairs the Digital Disruption Research Group in Sydney, where both academics and industry are engaged in research on the impact of digital technologies and new ways of working. She previously held management roles in the tourism and airline industries in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
